We are proud to say that we use Fair Trade Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil in our products. Buying Fair Trade means supporting an end to the poverty in developing countries. We have chosen to use green and amber jars and bottles that protect our plant based botanicals. This traditional apothecary approach is the best way to protect natural plant oils from damaging Ultra Violet Light. When oils are stored in conditions exposed to natural sunlight they deteriorate quite rapidly, quickly losing vitamins and potency. Using glass is also an environmentally friendly packaging choice and is completely recyclable and reusable.

Pure Element believes that watering down products is not an option when making its skincare. None of its products are diluted in anyway. Adding water lowers the nutrition value and actual content of all active and effective skin benefiting ingredients that are necessary for maximum results.
shelf life
All our products are freshly made in small batches to maintain peak potency and efficacy. The typical shelf life of our products is 9 to 12 months. All products are carefully stored in green or amber glass jars and bottles thus protecting and extending the shelf life of its formulations from UV light.
